Our Purpose

"To rescue every stray cat we can find, give them the medical care they deserve, and place them in loving, permanent homes — one cat at a time."

Cats & Cobie was founded on the belief that animal welfare is a community responsibility. We work tirelessly to build a more compassionate Lahore — where street cats are treated with kindness, not indifference.

Our Three Pillars

What We're Built On

Everything we do falls under three core pillars that guide every rescue, every treatment, and every adoption.

Rescue

We actively patrol and respond to reports of injured, sick, and abandoned street cats across Lahore. Our rescue network operates year-round, in all weather conditions, because cats in need cannot wait.

Treat

Every cat that comes through our care receives a full veterinary assessment, necessary medical treatment, vaccinations, deworming, and spay or neuter surgery. We do not cut corners on their health.

Rehome

We find carefully vetted forever families for every cat in our care. Our adoption process ensures that each cat goes to a safe, loving, and prepared home — and we provide full post-adoption support.

Report & Respond

Anyone can report a cat in need through our website or social media. We respond as quickly as possible to every report.

Rescue & Assess

The cat is safely rescued and brought in for a full health assessment by our veterinary partners.

Treat & Rehabilitate

All necessary treatment is provided. The cat is then placed in a foster home to recover, socialise and build confidence.

Screen & Match

Adoption applications are carefully reviewed. We match each cat to a family that suits their personality and needs.

Adopt & Follow Up

The cat goes to their forever home. We stay in touch to ensure a smooth transition and offer ongoing support.

Community Programme

Trap, Neuter, Return

The TNR programme is one of the most humane and effective ways to manage street cat populations. Rather than removing cats from their territories, we trap them, have them neutered, and return them — stopping the cycle of reproduction.

Trap

Street cats are humanely trapped using safe, non-harmful equipment by trained volunteers.

Neuter

Each cat is spayed or neutered by our veterinary partners and given basic health checks and vaccinations.

Return

Healthy, non-adoptable cats are returned to their original territory where they are monitored by community caretakers.
